Driver Of Mercedes-Benz Fined GHS1,800 For Careless Driving
The Kaneshie District Court has fined the driver of a black Mercedes-Benz 1,800 Ghana Cedis for Careless driving.
The driver, Kofi Sasa Buckman, was captured in a viral video displaying reckless stunts at the airport traffic light intersection in Accra.
In the viral video, the suspect was seen screeching and dangerously spinning a grey Mercedes-Benz in the middle of the four-lane road at the Airport traffic light when the traffic light turned red.
After doing a series of U-turns in the middle road while other road users watched on with scared looks, the suspect sped off before the light turned green.
He was held in Police custody on Sunday October 24, 2021
They charged him with careless driving and dangerous driving which posed a danger to road users.
He pleaded guilty to all the charges proffered against him.
However, the suspect reported ill when he was to make his first appearance in court.
