#KNUSTDecides: EC declares Kofi Boakye, Oti-Adjei and others as winners in the 2020 non-re elections

The Electoral Commissioner in charge of 2020 KNUST Non-Residential elections, Baswoa Bernard has declared Kofi Boakye and 4 other SRC Parliamentary Candidate winners in the March 12 elections.

Kofi Boakye won the seat as the Parliamentary candidate for the Kentinkrono/GAZA constituency with 820 votes beating two other contestants who participated in the elections.

Joseph Henry Asare Kuma and Aboagye Nana Toku Dum came close with 582 and 457 votes respectively.

The main campus constituency election which was also closely contested saw George Heavenson Jnr. Oti-Adjei winning with 909 votes against Martin Luther Appiah and Millicent A. Adjubel who polled 426 and 849 votes respectively.

3 out of the 5 constituencies, Bomso, Kotei, and Ayeduase had the candidates run unopposed in this year’s election with all candidates hugely endorsed by the electorates.
