Wydad Casablanca to Arrive in Ghana on Friday for Champions League Tie Against Hearts of Oak

Moroccan champions Wydad Casablanca are set to arrive in Ghana on Friday, 15th October, for their CAF Champions League play-off game against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Wydad were initially scheduled to arrive in Ghana on Wednesday, but their arrival has been delayed by two more days.

The team had 10 players, leaving for national assignment during the international break, effecting a change in their schedules.

Hearts of Oak will host Wydad Casablanca on Sunday, 17th October, 2021 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League play-off stage.

The return leg is scheduled for 24th October 2021.

This will be Hearts of Oak’s second game in the Champions League after seeing off Guinean side CL Kamsar in the Round 64 stage.

The winners of the tie over two legs advance to the group stages of the Champions League whilst the loser derails into the play-off stage of the CAF Confederations Cup
