Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies to Play Sundowns Ladies in Inaugral CAF Women’s Champions League Final
Champions of the Ghana Women’s Premier League, Hasaacas Ladies are through to play in the inaugral CAF Women’s Champions League final.
Hasaacas proceeded to the final after beating Moroccan club ASFAR Club by 2-1 in the semi-final.
Hasaacas Ladies in the final will play against Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, who themselves are Champions of South Africa.
The final will be played at the 30th June Stadium in Egypt on Friday, 19th November 2021.
Kick off time for the game is 17:00 GMT.
Hasmal, as Hasaacas Ladies are popularly called are unbeaten so far in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The Ladies won their group with 2 wins and a draw in their 3 group games.
They’ve also scored the most goals, scoring 10 goals in 4 games in the competition.
Evelyn Badu, top scorer of Hasacaas Ladies, is also the top scorer of the competition with 5 goals.
However, in those 4 games, Hasmal has conceded 4 goals.
Their opponents in the final, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies on the other hand oppose in these statistics.
Sundowns Ladies have scored just 2 goals in the tournament, despite reaching the final.
The Down ladies however are yet to concede a goal in the competition, keeping a clean sheet in all their four games.
