Ghana Drops to 8th in Africa on Latest FIFA Rankings

Ghana has dropped to 8th position in Africa,  on the latest FIFA rankings for November.

The Black Stars in the month under review, played 2 international games.

This included a 1-1 draw against Ethiopia, and a 1-0 victory over South Africa.

Ghana, previously 7th on the continent were overtaken by Cameroon.

Cameroon in the month won all their games, a 4-0 victory over Malawi and a 1-0 victory against Ivory Coast.

Meanwhile on the global rankings, Ghana maintained it’s spot as the 52nd best team in the world.

The latest ranking will keep Ghana unseeded for the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off draw.

Meanwhile, Senegal maintained their position as the best ranked team on the continent, whilst Algeria and Tunisia dropped places.
