The Faculty of Social Sciences Society (SOCIOSO) of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in collaboration with the Academic board committee has organized a new Educational Scholarship Fund dubbed “ACADA SO ME MU”.
According to a statement that was released by the SOCIOSO Faculty on Monday, March 29, 2021, “we believe that the best tool for effective studies is a trouble-free-mind”.
Therefore, they have taken it upon themselves to aid students by providing needy students with academic scholarship funds to save them the struggle.
Under the Educational Scholarship Scheme, Students of the faculty of Social Sciences who have lost their guardians as at when they gained admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology will be catered for.
According to the statement signed by the Academic Board Chairperson, Master Samuel Obiri Yeboah, The Scholarship Scheme is being implemented with collaborative funding support from the Welfare Committee.
“As a committee, we also believe the best tool for effective studies is a trouble free mind and that is why we have collaborated with the Welfare Committee to bring to you this scholarship fund. The fund will cater for students who have lost their guardians as at when they gained admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology”, part of the statement said.
Interested applicants are to submit their application letters to the faculty office by Wednesday 31st March, 2021.
