Kojo Preko Dankwa Appeals to Ministry of Tourism to Help Funny Face

Radio personality, Kojo Preko Dankwa, has appealed to the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture to help Funny Face.

In a post sighted by the media, the manager of Accra FM said it is important for the Ministry to step in because the creative arts industry currently has a serious situation to deal with—and the system and structures have to work to save the situation.

He said they should not wait for things to go out of hand before the government delegation is sent.

The renowned media personality wrote: “MINISTRY OF TOURISM ARTS AND CULTURE…FUNNY FACE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We have a serious situation in our hands as the creative arts industry and its high-time systems and structures work to save the situation. We need our Funny Face back.

*- He is the children’s friend
*- He is a comedian
*- An entertainer
*- A father
*- He is an actor.
*- He continues to pay his dues to the industry.

He is to visit a psychiatric hospital per court order. We cannot see him deteriorate totally before we send a government delegation, creative arts writers writing all sorts of things. Am appealing to the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture to step in and help. This is the time!”

Funny Face was asked to be taken to a psychiatric hospital for diagnosis when he made a first appearance at the Ofaakor Circuit Court on Monday, February 15, 2021.
