KNUST to hold Virtual Matriculation for First years

KNUST is set to hold a virtual Matriculation for first years next Tuesday.

The office of the Registrar of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has released a notice indicating that the matriculation of the first years that comes off on Tuesday, 9th February,2021 will be held virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Matriculation oath will be administered by the Registrar and will appear on the screen. Also, Matriculation Registers will be available at the colleges hence the Matriculants are supposed to sign the register after the Ceremony all in compliance with safety protocols.

The Ceremony is to be held at 10 am Next Tuesday on YouTube with the link  https://www.youtube.com/c/TEKTVNETWORK/live

This is in accordance with the general notice released by the school on Monday to move the University sanctioned meetings to virtual platforms. This was after the President’s 23rd national address on Ghana’s fight against COVID-19 last Sunday night where he urged workplaces to adopt a shift system and use virtual platforms for meetings so as to avoid physical contacts.
