The Student Representative Council (SRC) President of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has signed a “CODE OF CONDUCT” instrument for the officers of the SRC.
The instrument that was signed by the SRC President, Master Michael Adofo Abuah on Wednesday, December 9, 2021, seeks to promote good conduct and better working relationships amongst SRC Officers and the student populace.
The document tasks the SRC Chief of Staff to ensure all Officers abide by the instructions in the document to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
This ensures maintenance and restoration of public trust, accountability, and to project and preserve the very face of the SRC and finally eradicate acts of corruption, malfeasance, and other act which taint the good name of the SRC.
The instrument also captures a Female Protection Policy which will safeguard the interests of all female appointees and prevent any situation where they would undergo verbal abuse including sexual jokes.
Master Abuah, continues to assure the student populace that he will continue to work with the same faith, dexterity, and hard work that he signed to serve.
