Ghana to Play Against Algeria in Pre-AFCON Friendly

Ghana will play against African champions Algeria in preparations for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON).

The game is scheduled for January 5, four days before the commencement of the AFCON.

Algeria will hold their training tour for the AFCON in Qatar, and that’s where the game is scheduled to be played.

Ghana is in Group C of the AFCON alongside Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros.

The game against Algeria is expected to be a dress rehearsal for the match against Morocco in the AFCON.

Team Ghana is yet to fully announce their schedule and venue for the AFCON preparations.

The team will be expected to play at least one more friendly game in addition to the game against Algeria.
