The Judicial Chairperson for the Student Representative Council(SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the 2018/2019 academic year, Samuel Adomako Pinaman has won the John Mensah Sarbah Memorial Prize for being the best all-round performing law student in the professional law examinations.
Adomako Pinaman (Esq), was also adjudged the best student in Law practice and legal Accountancy at the just ended Ghana School of law 2021 graduation, at the Accra International Conference Centre, where 278 new lawyers were called to the bar. The new lawyers, by the ceremony, have been certified by the General Legal Council to begin their legal profession in the country
He also won the overall best graduating law student and the best male student of the 2019 class 0f the KNUST Faculty of law. To his credit, he also has a paper on Artificial Intelligence and Law practice which is published in the 2021 edition of the Ghana School of Law student journal.

Meanwhile, several alumni of the KNUST Faculty of law have also received the coveted Mensah Sarbah Memorial Prize. They are; Linda Mensah, Hagar Addo, Belinda Nade Aidoo, Grace Esi Sackey,and Emmanuel Kyei-John who won the award in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 respectively.
