KNUST Congratulates Nana Kojo Jantuah On His Prestigious ‘UCIA Journalist Of The Year Award’.

The Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) through its University Relations Office (URO) has congratulated Nana Kojo Jantuah, Manager of the University’s Focus FM (94.3MHz) who doubles as the Host of Multimedia’s Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm morning talk show program dubbed ‘Kuro Yi Mu Nsem’ on his conferment as the United Clergy International Association (UCIA) Ghana Journalist of the year.

The Head of the KNUST URO, Dr. Norris Bekoe invited him and the staff of Focus FM to his directorate on August 9, 2021, expressing his delight at the successes of Nana Jantuah and how his professionalism and Managerial standards keeps putting KNUST on the map and continuing the positive image legacy of the school.

He urged him on to continue to excel and create a platform for the positive benefit of the University.

‘’We are excited about your accomplishments and this award in particular. This should influence the partnership between the University and the media positively. That is quite a bigger platform so it is good for the University and I just want to urge you to continue to do more. Let’s create a platform for the lecturers and other staff within the University to get their voice heard through constructive programming so that at the end of the day, KNUST benefits.

This award should be a springboard for more better things in the future. So on behalf of the management and staff of KNUST, I want to say thank you and continue to do more so that at the end of the day, KNUST will be the ultimate winner.’’ Dr. Norris Bekoe expressed in declaring his excitement and gratitude.

 

Background

Nana Kojo Jantuah on August 6, 2021 was conferred with the prestigious UCIA Journalist of the year award at its 15th edition from a competitive list of some outstanding Ghanaian media personalities.

The event was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi and saw other top notable personalities like Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh (Minister of Energy), Dr. Yaw Adutwum (Minister of Education), Hon. Isaac Asiamah (MP, Atwima Mponua) and some others awarded for their significant contributions and leadership qualities in their various roles.
