The University is still in session amidst UTAG strike – URO

The University Relations Officer (URO) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science And Technology, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe, has debunked the false claims regarding the school closure on Wednesday, August 11.

This comes after a false story was circulated through social media recently regarding the closure of the university this coming Wednesday by the Registrar should the UTAG strike continue.

According to the URO, students should not regard any such information and stick to the information which was being released by the university.

Due to the ongoing UTAG strike, the University’s Management in a statement last Friday, August 6, announced that End-of-Semester examinations which was originally scheduled for Monday, August 9 to Friday, August 20 have been temporarily suspended unto further notice. Also, the statement said that new schedule for examinations will be released at the appropriate time.
