Apya wins best producer at the Ashanti Music Awards 2020
Ghanaian record producer, Apya has been awarded the best producer of the year at the just ended Ashanti Music Awards 2020 which took place at The Dome (Rattray Park) in Kumasi on 2nd January 2021.
He competed with Ipappi, Tubhani Music, KC Beatz in the “producer of the year” category.
Born as Eric Appiah Fordjour, Apya had his name credited as the producer of the “most popular song of the year” titled money by Kweku Flick. With six years of consistency, hard work, and determination, Apya has produced most of the mainstream artists In Ghana and Africa as a whole. Some of the artists are Strongman, Mr. Eazi, Bisa Kdei, Sister Efya, etc.
His skills on beats are extraordinary which makes him versatile in any genre of music. Apya has produced songs like Otan Hunu (remix) by Dead Peepol, Sika by Sista Efya featuring Kweku Flick, and Adiza by Bisa Kdei featuring Adekunle Gold.
