The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Relish Health Foods, Mr. Larry Addo has donated Gh₵80,000 to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Foundation.

At the brief ceremony, Mr. Addo said that the motive for his donation is to support brilliant but needy students at the University. According to him, there are underprivileged students who are financially unstable to cater for themselves in school. Mr. Addo, therefore, pledged his commitment to continuously aid such students.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, commended the philanthropist for his timely intervention. He indicated that there are brilliant but needy students who would otherwise not be able to complete their education. This he said included some indigent students who reside far away from campus and are forced to walk long miles to attend lectures. Considering this, the KNUST Foundation was established to enable individuals and organizations to contribute their widow’s mite, he added.
