Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) has released a statement addressed to all Students in the institution about the closure of halls of residence.
The statement said that all students must vacate all halls and KNUST owned hostels by Sunday, 25th April, 2021. This decision was arrived at after a meeting by the residence committee that was held on Thursday, 15th April, 2021.
However, the committee directed that students whose examinations extended beyond the stated period would be required to vacate their halls 48 hours after their papers.
The statement further informs all students to take all their belongings along with them.
The statement directs that;

- International Students with reasons to stay must communicate with their Hostel Managers
