Police arrests two suspects in relation to the murder of social activist in Ejura
Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested two persons in connection with the killing of Ibrahim Muhammed aka Kaaka, a social activist in Ejura.
The suspects have been identified as Ibrahim Isaka and Fuseini Alhassan.
The deceased is said to have been attacked on Saturday dawn for asking for a better Ejura through social media activism.
According to police, “witness accounts show that the [Ibrahim Muhammed] was ambushed in front of his house when he was returning home on his motorbike at about 1:30 am on Sunday, 27th June 2021.”
He was repeatedly struck in the head with objects until he lost consciousness.
After the attack, he was rushed to the Ejura Government Hospital and later referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital where he died at midday on Monday.
