Kuami Eugene supports Benny Morgan from KNUST to win Gracey Mae’s Unsigned Award in the UK
Ghanaian Highlife artiste, Kuame Eugene has thrown support to Afrobeat singer and an alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Benny Morgan to emerge as winner of the maiden edition of Gracey Mae’s unsigned daily talent show in the UK.
Kuami Eugene appearing as a guest judge on UK based Gracey Mae’s ‘unsigned’ daily talent show held live on Instagram declared that he has known Benny Morgan way back on the streets before his fame.
‘I know Benny Morgan. I was on the streets with Benny Morgan. If you hear Oh Benny Morgan eyyy then you know it’s him,’ he said.
Benny Morgan’s single, ‘Blessing’ which was featured and played as the 5th song on the show received an overwhelming endorsement from Kuami Eugene.
Viewers falling in love with Benny Morgan’s song ‘Blessing’ voted for the song leading to his victory against other contestants.
Benjamin A. Owiredu, well known in the entertain industry as Benny Morgan is a Ghanaian high-life and afro beat singer, songwriter and A Disc Jockey (DJ). He is signed to Morgan’s Professionals Entertainment. He is known for his hit singles like ‘Blessings, Pretty, Ohemaa, Friend like you and Medi’.
He has done some amazing covers for songs like ‘Wish me well’ by Kuame Eugene, ‘Poverty’ by J. Derobie and many others.
Benjamin Morgan was born on 25th July, 1997 in Akim Oda, a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Benny Morgan attended Koforidua Senior High School and had his tertiary education at the KNUST where he studied Mathematics at the undergraduate level. He is currently reading Computer science in his Master’s program at the same University.
