The link for the application for bed spaces in the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II (SRC) hostel at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has been opened for interested students to apply.
The application link which was opened today, 4th October 2021 is expected to be closed by midnight on Wednesday,6th October 2021.
Interested applicants can therefore visit the room allocator portal via the link srchostel.knust.edu.gh
Here are guidelines to follow to apply
1. Login with your student credentials (Username and Password)
2. Choose from any of the 4 choices (Block A, Block B, Block C and Block D) along with the type of room (Flat, ordinary or self-contained) and number in a room. KNUST SRC hostel Prices are indicated when making the selection.
3. An official notification from the SRC Hostel detailing the choices you made and whether it was approved will come in the form of a text message or via your KNUST student email address.
4. Log in to the room Allocator portal and print out your form.
5. If approved, visit any of the KNUST approved banks and make payment.
6. Submit the receipt on the semester re-opening date to the office of the Dean of Student for endorsement.
7. Submit the endorsed receipt to the SRC porters for your room key.
Meanwhile, the deadline for the payment of the hostel fees will be indicated after the application has been approved.
