KNUST SRC 60th Anniversary Comes off this Saturday

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Student Representative Council (SRC) celebrates its 60 years anniversary this year.

Not only is its SRC celebrating its anniversary, but the school itself celebrates its 70 years anniversary this year. And according to the University Relations Officer, this year’s anniversary will be celebrated in a grand style.

On the other hand, For the 60th SRC Anniversary, its representatives, led by Master Samuel Sessah have set a date to launch the celebrations.

As scheduled, the launch of the 60th Anniversary celebration will take place on Saturday, 13th March 2021.

The much-awaited launch was initially scheduled to take place at the Royal parade grounds but has been changed to Kumaplay Auditorium.

The time for the launch is 10:00 am.

Speaking to Focus FM’s Raheem Awaafo on the Community Watch show on Tuesday, the KNUST SRC Financial Secretary, Osei Fosu Solomon, gave out details of the anniversary celebrations.

According to him, the SRC is on course to make the event a memorable one. He added that they have invited most of the past KNUST SRC Presidents making mention of notable ones such as Boakye Nyamekye Isaac (BNI), Samuel Amoako Kusi (SAK), Kelvin Sah (noted for the famous 22nd September 2018) and many others.

To grace the occasion, will be the past Vice-Chancellors of KNUST.
