Dr. Daniel Amponsah, popularly known as Agya Koo Nimo leading folk musician of Palm wine music, donated 500 law books at the Kobina Darko Concert library at the Law Faculty in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on Tuesday 13th July, 2021.
This colossal donation was done on behalf of his granddaughter Mrs. Nadin Penemang from the George Town University and the family to boost the study of law in the various disciplinary in the university. The books were known to be updated as they were published in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
Gracing the occasion was the Dean of the Law Faculty Professor Lydia Ofori Nkansah, the University Librarian, Dr. Kottey Nii Quaye, Mr. Michael Sackey Boateng and other University dignitaries who received the books on behalf of the Law Faculty.
Agya Koo Nimo is a leading folk musician of Palm wine music or Highlife music from Ghana. He is regarded as one of the living legends in the country as he plays multiple forms of traditional music.
