
Junior doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have served a notice to go on an indefinite strike by the end of March, should they still not be paid.
This is as a result of the absence of their 6-month salary since the beginning of their housemanship in October 2020.
Previous experiences suggest at least a 2-month delay in payment due to uncompleted registration and paper work.
However, the current situation has worsened.

The effect of health workers laying down their tools could be dire, especially, in this current fight against Covid-19, thus, the call for the payment of their salaries.
