Andre Villas-Boas has handed in his resignation at Marseille because the club signed Olivier Ntcham on loan from Celtic without his permission.
The ex-Chelsea boss announced his decision in a shock press conference ahead of their league match with RC lens saying, “I haven’t heard back from the board yet about my offer to resign.”
“I just want to leave Marseille. I am not asking anything else from the board.”
Villas-Boas signed a two-year contract on 28 May 2019, to be the new manager of Marseille, replacing Rudi Garcia.
