According to the Ghana Health Service, seven more people have died as a result of the deadly coronavirus diseases (GHS).
This brings the total number of deaths within 48 hours to 1,125, according to the most recent update.
The GHS had 4,295 active cases as of September 16. The number of active cases has increased slightly.
As of September 14, there were a total of 2,286 active cases.
Currently, 118 people who tested positive for the virus are in severe condition whereas 42 others are critical.

Also, 304 new cases have been recorded in eight regions and the Kotoka International Airport.
Cumulatively, Ghana’s total confirmed cases stand at 125,565 cases. Out of the 125,565 who fell prey to the virus, 120,145 individuals have recovered and have been discharged.
