Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum sponsors 30 Engineering Students of Bosomtwe

Honorable Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Bosomtwe Constituency, has envisioned to help make 100 engineers in his constituency (Bosomtwe) in ten years.
In light of this, he has undertaken the responsibility to sponsor the full tuition of thirty (30) students from Bosomtwe who wish to undertake Engineering courses at the University.
This was revealed by himself on his Facebook page Today, Monday, January 11, 2021.
He also posted photos of himself and the students as he says goodbye to the students from Bosomtwe on their way to the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT).
Below is his Facebook post just about an hour ago:
“Monday, 11th January 2021.
This morning, I bid farewell to 30 students from Bosomtwe who are on their way to the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) at Tarkwa. They are going to pursue various courses in Engineering fully funded by me.
The excitement on their faces and that of their parents who had assembled in front of my Constituency Office building was palpable.
Fees paid, accommodation provided and a bus ready to convey them to Tarkwa, I encouraged them to aim high, study hard, read wide, and pursue success.
My vision of ensuring that Bosomtwe gets 100 engineers within the next ten years is on course.”
