The ongoing one-month fumigation exercise organized by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is to sanitize facilities on the campus.
The exercise is being done as a precautionary measure against the spread of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) disease. It began on Monday, 30th March with the College of Engineering and is expected to be climaxed with a mop-up exercise from 23rd to 27th April 2020.
About 30 sprayers have been deployed to spray various locations to disinfect the facilities with disinfectants as part of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Ghana.
