15-year-old student has been identified as an incendiary behind Accra Academy fire outbreaks

A 15-year-old Accra Academy pupil has been revealed as the mastermind behind the school’s frequent fire accidents.

The suspect acknowledged his wrongdoings before a committee formed by the school’s administration to look into the incidents.

Last Tuesday, he was brought over to Odorkor Divisional Police, but he was given bail until the start of the investigation.

The school named the second-year student as a significant suspect even before the Odorkor Divisional Police Command and the Ghana National Fire Service could complete their investigations.

The child admitted his wrongdoings to the committee and then to the police. He claimed that his acts were justified.
