The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) under the auspices of the MasterCard Foundation has allocated two specially designed shuttles to transport disabled students in and out of academic areas.
Unlike the normal shuttles, the two Minibuses come with stickers signalling their reservation for only disabled students.
The seats of the Minibuses are positioned with the backs of passengers facing the windows of the shuttle, leaving the middle space for easy circulation.
According to the SRC many of such dialogues that will befit the best interest of students will continue to prevail as far as a team “Team Defy the Odds” is a concern.
Two shuttles have been given to disabled students by MasterCard Foundation to specifically transport students to and fro academic area. As your leaders, we will continue to dialogue for the best for our students.
