KNUST Debate Society begins new recruitment

The Debate Society of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KDS) has begun processes to admit new members. This was announced in a twitter post.

According to KDS, this will enable them get new members on board for creative and critical thinking, public speaking as well as problem solving skills.

The KNUST debate society has over the years grown to be a space of inclusion and growth. It has actively developed students’ intellect through critical thinking, problem solving and public speaking. The society has been a home to numerous entrepreneurs, student politicians as well as activists in KNUST and beyond.

Aside transforming students lives, it has also won several trophies, ranking KNUST as the best tertiary institution in Ghana, West Africa and the African continent.

This year, they were crowned champions of the Pan African Universities Debating Championship for the third consecutive time.
