Chairman of the Electoral Commission of the KNUST SRC, Mr. Philip Ofori-Atta has released results for this year’s public screening exercise of all aspirants contesting for various executive positions within the SRC.
The results had the two major contenders in this year’s election, Samuel Sesah and Joseph Rexford Bonny scoring 79% each despite a few disturbances from a cross-section of the audience during their turn which led to abrupt truncation of their vetting.
The results also showed one of the presidential aspirants, Ibrahim Ali disqualified from the race after he failed to appear before the vetting panel to be vetted.
All thirteen aspirants who participated in the vetting process were declared legible to be voted for in the election.
